In one line
Erkos is an iPhone app for running your personal finances like a business: log every pound by hand, read each month as a statement, and fund your future month by month, with no bank login and no servers.
In a paragraph
Erkos is an iPhone app for people who want to run their personal finances the way a business runs its books. Instead of connecting a bank, you log every pound by hand, holding a button to commit each entry, so nothing slips past unseen. Each month becomes a simple statement: income, running costs, discretionary spending, cash from operations, and capital deployed into investments, which Erkos never counts as spending. A reserve covers the unexpected, and a horizon of months shows your future being funded, month by month. At the end of each month you close the books and get a one-page report. There’s no account to create and no bank login: your data stays on your iPhone and in your own iCloud. Erkos is made by Erkos Software Ltd, a small independent UK company, and comes to the UK App Store in early 2027.
What makes it different
- Logged by hand, on purpose. No bank feed to skim: you see and choose every pound. Hold to commit means nothing is logged by accident.
- Each month as a statement. Income, running costs, discretionary spending, cash from operations, financing and free cash flow, in plain words.
- Investing is never spending. Money moved into investments is capital deployed, kept apart from what you spend.
- Close the books. A month-end reminder and a one-page report turn tracking into a habit.
- Private by design. No account, no bank login, no analytics, no servers of ours. Face ID lock and a tap to hide every figure.
